What is a crown?
A dental crown can be either a partial, or a full tooth restoration made out of tooth colored porcelain to blend in seamlessly with your natural smile. If you still have remaining healthy tooth structure, we will do our best to preserve it as long as possible. A crown can be fitted to replace the damaged area and restore the tooth. If you are missing a tooth entirely, a crown can come in the form of a complete fabricated tooth that can be anchored with the help of a dental implant.
What are the benefits?
The benefits of porcelain crowns are numerous, and range from functional to cosmetic to health benefits:
- Tooth colored porcelain blends in seamlessly with natural teeth
- Fills the gap for a complete smile
- Preserves integrity of the tooth
- Stabilize surrounding teeth & bite
- Prevent further damage & decay
- Enjoy your favorite foods comfortably
- Speak naturally
- Smile with confidence!
